With the busy summer festival period fast approaching Warwick District Council is hoping to give Leamington town centre’s retailers and event organisers an added boost by once again offering free parking in their HQ car park at Riverside House at weekends.
From this Saturday 4th May, the Council’s car park on Milverton Hill will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 7am until 7pm. This car park has more than 250 spaces and is just a short walk from Leamington town centre.
Warwick District Council’s Head of Neighbourhood Services Robert Hoof commented;
“Kicking off with this Sunday’s EcoFest in the Pump Room Gardens, we very much hope that visitors to Leamington during the summer will take advantage of the free parking at Riverside House whether they are visiting the town, using the local parks, or coming along to one of the many events taking place in the coming months.”
The weekend parking offer at Riverside House is in addition to the existing free parking currently provided by Warwick District Council in Leamington on Sundays in selected off-street car parks, including Court Street car park where 50 new parking spaces have been recently added.
