Local attractions and venues will once again be opening their doors to the public for the annual Heritage Open Days Festival which takes place from 10 to 19 September.

With COVID-19 restrictions greatly reducing last year’s event, the organisers at Warwick District Council have been delighted to see 40 local buildings, gardens and places of historic interest taking part.

Some of the highlights this year include a Great Fire of Warwick Walk, guided literary and history tours of Leamington town centre and Leamington Station and the St Mary’s Priory and Abbey Ruins in Kenilworth.

Many of the district’s churches and places of worship will be open once again including the Gurdwara Sahib with volunteers on hand to show visitors around.

Further information and a downloadable guide are available on the Warwick District Council website.

Those wishing to visit the Gurdwara are kindly asked to book in advance by email jimmalle@msn.com or Tel 07973 254366.
