Join the working party this autumn and winter
The Bishop’s Tachbrook Working Party will be very busy this autumn and winter. There’s quite a lot of tree planting to tackle and we need to do some clearing work for the Meadow rewilding.
If you can help or you know someone who might want to join in, please contact Keith Wellsted.
Here are two dates for your diaries:
Saturday, September 17th – rewilding progression
The rewilding areas will be mown in the preceding week and we then need to rake all the grass off into the hedgerows.
Equipment needed – bring your rakes!
Saturday, October 22nd – Parish storage building
We will be clearing the plot behind the parish storage building in preparation for planting fruit/nut trees. Equipment needed – forks, spades.
Future dates
We will also have meetings from November to April to get trees planted.
- 12th November
- 10th December
- Further dates to be confirmed
