Notice of temporary traffic lights, B4455 Fosse Way
Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV) is working in partnership with HS2 Ltd to build the new high-speed railway in the area.
Ahead of the construction of a new cycle bridge over The Fosse, Balfour Beatty VINCI will be carrying out limited vegetation clearance. To ensure a safe working area for their team, two-way temporary traffic lights will be required.
When the work will be taking place
The works are planned in two phases:
- Phase one: Tuesday 6 May 2025 until Friday 9 May 2025
- Phase two: Monday 23 June 2025 until Friday 11 July 2025
The temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am to 3.30pm on weekdays to help reduce disruption for local road users. No weekend work is currently planned. Please see map 1 on page two for more details.
What to expect
There may be minor disruption to journey times, but access to homes and properties will be maintained. Increased activity in the area may be noticeable during the works.
Community Drop-In Event
Residents are invited to attend a community drop-in event at Southam Library on Wednesday 21 May to learn more about the works.
