Thermal imaging camera loan scheme
Bishop’s Tachbrook Parish, in partnership with Warwick District Council, is offering residents the opportunity to borrow a thermal imaging camera to help identify areas of heat loss in their homes.
This community-led initiative aims to improve home energy efficiency, reduce energy bills, and contribute to the fight against climate change.
How It Works – In 5 Easy Steps
- Find your local community group (that’s us!)
- Read and sign the Loan Agreement
- Borrow the camera and take thermal images of your home
- Return the camera on time
- Complete the Online Post-Loan Survey

What You’ll Need
- A compatible smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS with a USB-C port)
- The FLIR ONE app, available from the App Store or Google Play
- A willingness to explore how your home could become warmer and more efficient!

Scheme Duration
The camera loan scheme typically runs September–March, when temperatures are low enough for effective thermal imaging.
