Temporary speed restriction on Banbury Road & and Moreton Morrell Road

Warwickshire County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Order details as indicated below:

A 30mph speed restriction will be effective on the following roads:

  1. B4100 Banbury Road, Bishops Tachbrook, from its junction with Oakley Wood Road to its junction with B4100/B4455 roundabout.
  2. C45 Moreton Morrell Road (Ashorne Hill), Bishops Tachbrook from a point outside North Lodge to its junction with B4100 Banbury Road.

A 10mph speed restriction will be effective on the following roads when signage is displayed to allow for convoy working:

  1. B4100 Banbury Road, Bishops Tachbrook from its junction with Moreton Morrell Road to a point outside the access to Little Orchard Farmhouse.
  2. C45 Moreton Morrell Road (Ashorne Hill), Bishops Tachbrook from its junction with B4100 in a southerly direction for 100 metres.

For the safety of all road users and of the contractors working on Carriageway surface dressing works including the removal and replacement of road studs, pre-surface dressing patching, replacement of road markings, sand carpeting and road sweeping using the Convoy Method of Traffic Management.

Order Effective from: 27 June 2020 for up to 18 months. However, works will be completed in phases totalling 6 days during this period.
