Public invited to share views on Riverside House residential development plans

Warwick District Council have announced that conditional contracts have been exchanged for the sale of its Riverside House HQ and surrounding land, to public body Homes England.

Homes England, a government agency which specialises in the sustainable redevelopment of complex sites, is now seeking the views of local residents, on their plans for residential development and also the creation of a new riverside park.

In accordance with the site development brief set by the District Council in 2021, any housing created by Homes England, will need to meet the Council’s current policy criteria on affordability and the soon to be adopted regulation for all new developments in the district to be net zero carbon.

The public consultation will run from now until 8 December 2023 and will be followed by the opportunity for members of the public to attend an in-person event.  Further information and a link to the online consultation is available on the Warwick District Council website.
