Two-way traffic management will put be in place along Oakley Wood Road from 14th August.
Traffic management is needed so that old gas pipes can be replaced. The work is expected to last for approximately two weeks.
As there will be two-way traffic lights there is no planned diversion and people using the road should experience minimal disruption to their journey.
Disturbance to the adjoining cycle lane should be minimal and contractors will do their utmost to ensure it is kept open and safe for cyclists to use.
