Deadline For Commonwealth Collective Volunteer programme announced

Time is running out to join the Commonwealth Collective volunteer programme, with the application closing on Tuesday 17 August at 7 pm and it would be great to see local people volunteering at next year’s Games.

The volunteers that are part of the programme will be the public faces of Birmingham 2022 for athletes, officials, spectators and a global audience of over one billion. The Games is the largest sporting and cultural event ever to be held in the West Midlands and the biggest in the UK for a decade.

You do not require any formal experience or qualifications for the majority of roles, with full training provided. Roles include drivers, first aiders, meet & greeters, venue preppers, kit carriers, courtside assistants and many more to help the Games run smoothly, full training will also be provided to volunteers.
