Land transfers completed for new Country Park

A significant milestone in the development of the 49-hectare (121-acre) Tachbrook Country Park has been reached with the completion of the transfer of land from developers AC Lloyd to Warwick District Council.

This is one of the final stages in a complex legal process to secure agreements with adjacent developers, landowners, and utility providers to allow the creation of the new public open space to get underway.

Planning permission for Tachbrook Country Park was granted in November 2022. Once complete, the new public open space – which is located within easy access to the new housing developments and schools in Warwick, Whitnash and Bishop’s Tachbrook – will be operated by Warwick District Council under an ‘in perpetuity’ land use agreement to be granted by Bishop’s Tachbrook Parish Council.
