Community Speedwatch is operated in conjunction with Warwickshire police & is a high visibility initiative dedicated to encouraging drivers to consider their speed when passing through our parish & to changing their behaviour where appropriate.
The Bishops Tachbrook Community Speedwatch Team has been active since 2013 & has issued over 1,000 speeding advisory letters in this time.
The speed data collected by the team has been used to inform & support the traffic calming measures implemented by the Parish Council such as the speed table & vehicle activated signs.
We have recently been risk assessed to operate on Harbury Lane outside the primary school.
We are always looking for volunteers to join our team particularly from the Harbury Lane part of the parish.
